Q-Park operates a large number of parking garages in many different locations in the Netherlands. Many Q-Park parking garages are located in major cities such as Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and Maastricht. You can usually find them around offices, hospitals as well as mobility hubs.
To use Q-Park's services in combination with Shuttel, all you need is the Shuttel app. You don't need to take any further action or activate the service. The functionality is automatically added to your Shuttel app.
You can download the Shuttel app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
There are two ways to park in a Q-Park garage via Shuttel:
1. Through the QR code in the Shuttel app
2. Through automatic license plate registration
It may happen that the barrier is open already when you drive in or out. Scan your QR-code nevertheless to prevent a parking session from not starting or stopping properly. Therefore, using the ticket machine is no longer necessary. As usual, we will settle the transaction costs on your monthly invoice.
Note: if you already have a Q-Park subscription, please turn off license plate recognition in the Q-Park app. This way, your license plate will not be automatically scanned when you enter.
With automatic license plate registration, you no longer have to scan anything when entering or exiting Q-Park garages. The gates scan your license plate and open automatically. So you no longer have to use the ticket machine. To activate automatic license plate registration, follow the steps below:
1. Register your vehicle
If you are already using the Shuttel app with a vehicle, such as a car or a motorcycle, this vehicle will be registered in your app. If this is not the case, you can register the vehicle in question in the app yourself. This is how you do it:
2. Link vehicle
You have now registered your vehicle in the app. Next, you need to pair the vehicle. This is how you do it:
